{"id":1123,"date":"2016-02-29T10:23:17","date_gmt":"2016-02-29T15:23:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/biran.birankai.org\/?p=1123"},"modified":"2016-02-29T10:24:47","modified_gmt":"2016-02-29T15:24:47","slug":"the-course-of-nature","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biran.birankai.org\/?p=1123","title":{"rendered":"The Course of Nature"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p><em><strong>Dear Birankai Colleagues,<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>At our 2015 Summer Camp, many of you had an opportunity to meet my friend, Amnon <a href=\"https:\/\/biran.birankai.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Amnon-Tzechovoy.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1125\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-1125 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/biran.birankai.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Amnon-Tzechovoy-300x227.png\" alt=\"Amnon Tzechovoy\" width=\"300\" height=\"227\" srcset=\"https:\/\/biran.birankai.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Amnon-Tzechovoy-300x227.png 300w, https:\/\/biran.birankai.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Amnon-Tzechovoy-396x300.png 396w, https:\/\/biran.birankai.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Amnon-Tzechovoy.png 434w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Tzechovoy Sensei, Shidoin, of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.birankai-israel.com\/\">Birankai Israel<\/a> (Tel Aviv), and to purchase his remarkable new book, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Seeking-Unicorn-Philosophical-Psychoanalytical-Insights\/dp\/1503390489\"><em>Seeking the Unicorn: Philosophical and Psychoanalytical Insights into the Practice and Teaching of Aikido.<\/em> <\/a><\/p>\n<p>The book was completed before Chiba Sensei\u2019s death, but there was no opportunity to present the \u201cfinished product\u201d to Sensei, the true subject of the book.\u00a0 It was my honor to present the book as a gift to Mrs. Chiba at a memorial event.<\/p>\n<p>Later in 2015, Tzechovoy Sensei added a new, final chapter: \u201cKi No More\u201d \u2014 a moving farewell to our founder which, I feel, penetrates to the heart of Sensei&#8217;s teachings. After some discussion, we decided to share it with you here on BiranOnline. (Please click on title below for Word document.)
